GINGER ISLAND CUISINE
Renée Foote is a Toronto based Chef, having worked
in many of its top restaurants, including the Sutton
Place Hotel, Byzantium, North 44° and most formerly,
held the Executive Chef position at Mercer St. Grill.
In the year 2000, Chef Foote launched her own catering
company - Ginger Island Cuisine. Ginger Island
Cuisine offers a wide range of catering services from
top notch in-home dinner parties to exclusive cuisine for
business affairs.
Chef Foote has received accolades for her specialty hors
d'eourves and most notably her ultimate chocolate dessert
- "Chocolate Sushi". "The Toronto

Chef Foote always strives to challenge her customer's taste
buds and further dazzle senses with her delightful presentations.
She is creative with market fresh ingredients, while keeping
in mind her customer's needs and requests for low-fat vegetarian
dishes and decadent designer desserts. All recipes produced
in Chef Foote's kitchens are made with a recipe of freshness,
quality and skill. Selections from Chef Renée Foote's
recipes are included in noted cook book's, such as "Women
of Taste", published by J. Wiley, Sons, 1998.
Chef Foote has been recognized by Toronto Food Critics
for several years. Her accolades range from "Whiz-Kid
Pastry Chef" to "Golden Girl".

Chef Foote is a familiar face on North American television,

Currently, in her spare time, Chef Foote is working on
her first cookbook.
